Preventive dentistry

Periodontal services at our clinic can help keep your smile sparkling and happy. Proper oral health care is essential for your oral and overall health. Studies have shown that poor oral health care has been linked to diabetes, heart disease and joints inflammations. Infected teeth allow for bacteria to enter the bloodstream and may cause a whole host of issues. Plaque build-up on your teeth can cause painful gum disease and may actually cause tooth loss if left untreated and a whole host of dental problems. Periodontal services include scaling and a thorough cleaning of the gums and teeth to remove excess plaque and keep your smile healthy. Gum disease caused by plaque build-up is the number one cause for tooth loss in adults. Avoid losing your teeth to a preventable disease and reserve your periodontal appointment for a smile that’s clean and happy.

Whitening

Life takes a toll on your smile. Age, medication, coffee, tea and foods can stain your smile and lower your self-esteem and confidence levels. Professional whitening systems are the safest way to restore a brighter color of your teeth.

Preventive cancer screening

We offer an examination of the mouth cancer thanks to the use of the Velscope device which uses the natural photoluminescence of the mouth to reveal the abnormalities of the oral mucosa. This allows a quick diagnosis as the device allows visualization of lesions and cancerous signs invisible to the naked eye.

Root canal treatment

A root canal treatment is a last resort to save the tooth when the pulp (internal component of the tooth that holds the blood vessels and nerves), is infected with bacteria. This can occur when a dental cavity grows large, fractured tooth or when a dental filling is broken. When bacteria reach the pulp of the tooth, it will slowly begin to lose its vitality and cause several consequences like toothache, formation of an abscess and spreading of infection.

Crowns and bridges

Depending on the condition of your teeth, you may require a crown or a bridge to restore your smile’s appearance and functionality. Teeth that may be too weak to be restored will be covered with a crown by the dentist. Bridges are an excellent solution to replace a missing tooth if you’re not a candidate for dental implants or if you don’t want a partial denture. A bridge is a natural-looking porcelain teeth replacement.

Extractions

As a dental health professional, the goal is always to save the dentition. Unfortunately certain conditions can prevent the dentist from achieving this goal and an extraction becomes necessary.

Partials or dentures

If you have lost more teeth and you are not ready for dental implants, we can restore your smile and masticatory functionality with the help of prosthesis that will be individually adapted to the needs of each client.

Dental implant

Implants are one of the best solution to replace missing teeth. After a professional examination, the dentist could propose it. We actively collaborate with dentists who will place the implant in the bone. After a 4-6 month osseointegration, when it is fussing into the bone, our office will place a crown on your implant that will give you back your comfort.

Full mouth reconstruction

By the combination of our knowledge and modern technics in our clinic, we could give you back a beautiful mouth with restored functionality.

Mouth guard and sports guard

Certain habits that are done consciously or not can have severe repercussions to your dentition. In the case of bruxism or grinding during the night can cause pain and discomfort in the morning and irreversible damages to the teeth. Mouth guard could reduce the bad habits and protect the dentition.
For active peoples who are doing contact sports we offer the sports guard; that is a must.

For a brighter smile!
